You ever wake up Sleepy? Hard to resist that urge to pick up the phone and call out sick to work that day. If only we didn’t have to work and money came in the mail to us via chips in our hands that we swipe whenever we need to buy our essentials. We could have cyber eyes and bionic legs as well.

Wtf.

The water of the Arkansas River is not this blue. Isn’t digital fun? (at times)

Now, it’s Holga time. Film. Provia or Astia? It’d be neat to shoot Scala but I want to save that roll for something REALLY amazing…

Very hard shooting something with a lot of lines and color. You want to underexpose slightly to make the color ultra-pop but you lose the trees. You want to overexpose and let the trees stand out but you lose your color. What to do? Luckily black and white conversion is easy and very controlled.

Problem solved.

Here it is. Well, here ONE is. This is me experimenting with “wide angle panoramas.” Wide angle is supposed to be a bad thing when doing panoramas but rules ARE SUPPOSED to be broken.

I will say that making a panorama image out of a wide angle image is a little harder. Photoshop automation “Photomerge” got me halfway there.. then the clone stamp helped me clear up the weird edges.

Let me know what you or your mother thinks. (Happy Mother’s Day)

Does anyone else walk around as much as I do?

Walk around with a camera and look for things?

Or just wait until the thing comes to you? No?

It can be very relaxing. For me, it’s therapy.

Photography can cool the soul and warm the spirit.

Hah, whatever. Lame attempt at being inspirational.

Enjoy.
