Locust Grove, Oklahoma.

A lot of abandoned barns out in this area of Oklahoma. Actually, there’s a lot of abandoned barns in all of Oklahoma. Next time you see one maybe you should stop and check it out, there’s usually cool photos to be taken. This seemed to be used for horses because of the extreme amount of hey still inside of it. Maybe I’m wrong. I’m no farmer.

Finally, I am updating the blog. I spent many nights trying to figure out how to setup WordPress for Blackberry and tonight was the night that I figured it out. Wewt wewt. Anyway, it’s been a fairly busy week with the normal dayjob so the blog has been slacking. Sad news for all you hardcore readers out there. Oh noez.

THIS photograph was taken in New York City/Manhattan/Union Square one summer day while walking the streets. The beauty of the city is everywhere.

Uh, don’t worry.. my haiku writing days have not vanished. Nor have my free iPhone wallpaper days vanished either(even though I’m rocking Blackberry).

OKC Downtown

Never have liked this city. Oklahoma City.

Recently it has been growing and growing on me. I don’t really know why.

OKC has its moments

The weather was perfect this day. The crew and I walked up seven flights of stairs to get to this. FYI: parking garages are easy easy easy ways to get a high vantage point. Most are easy to sneak into and some even have external stairs.

Oklahoma City is growing on me but Tulsa is still better.

Tulsa ftw.

Sound&Sweet

Sound&Sweet

This piece was created using older prints of mine. Most of the photos were taken with my Holga. The frame was dark wood but after spraying primer over it and throwing paint all over it and blending it together, it now looks totally different. The frame had to match the collage.

Artwork has been pouring out of me lately and I hope it stays that way.

Until next time..

Summer

Summer detail

Can you tell? These images were made by combining three photographs each. Those photographs were shot in horizontal fashion but when combined create a vertical image. Why do this? The quality is beautiful(when not sized for web) and it’s fun trying out new things. This technique is nothing new to the photography world but it’s the first time I’ve messed around with it. I’m still still still searching for the perfect wide angle panorama subject. Close range panoramas will continue to be a challenge…
